Frequency Converter
A frequency converter, often known as a variable frequency drive (VFD), is a piece of electrical equipment that changes one frequency of current into another. Normally, the voltage remains constant during and after frequency conversion. Typically, frequency converters are used to control the speed of motors that power pumps and fans.
